Update - +Comments from Tilly!

A quick update on progress:

We finalised all the Post Contract Variations this week, we ended up including the evap cooling, benchtop in kitchen (YES PEOPLE I WON & GOT MY BENCHTOP) and awning windows. Also got a small credit on some mouldings we removed from the front facade which paid for the windows.

Our mortgage docs were submitted on Thursday( just a load oh blah blah), so another few weeks and we will have an answer. Bank will be looking at the extra money we need to borrow due to increase in costs as well as a valuation on the house/land complete. Not worried about the extra dollars, sweating over the valuation.....

Also paid our first mortgage payment on the land last week, not having a mortgage didnt last long enough!

Our little block has started becoming a rubbish tip, the concrete is still there although the builder will be removing it soon (so they say). We also have a large pile of wood now, presumably a present from the builder next door. Not sure what we are going to do with that.

Also someone has dumped an old window frame and old cracked toilet (makes you wonder what curry they had eaten) at the back of the block.... so thoughtful. If I had seen them I would of let them know that toilets and windows were included in the house design and they shouldnt worry about helping us out, oh well...

Not sure what to do with the rubbish, will call the council and talk to them, illegal dumping is a bit of an issue, not sure how much help they will turn out to be.

well because tilly is such a super cool person and just the best she called the building compony and told them "look we're not putting up with this kind off shizzel". They were all like "ohh we are soo sorry and not worthy" she told them it was ok not everyone can be as super as her and her super family and now the ILLEGALLY dumped rubbish is going to be collected and sent to the 2nd little piggy to help him out on his build.
