I havent updated in awhile, but to be quick. We got the valuation issue sorted, we are only a few $K short now, which is no big deal and not completely out of the ordinary for new builds in developing area.
The mortgage got finalised last week, so the bank is ready to make progress payments.
Ohh and we had to clean up the concrete mess... 4 hours with a pick and a few trips to the tip (which is conveniently locted 6kms up the road near brooklyn greens) and it was gone. The other stuff, we got rid of and leave it at that...
We also got away with not needing another survey to ensure the pegs were in the right spots. It was lucky the holes along the fence line were still there and one of the bits of wood I stuffed in the hole was the top of a peg.
So the big news was that site start date was scheduled on the 13th August!
