Well, we have now officially started! The 13th was the offical date where bits a pieces were delivered however the 14th was really when things happened. The site cut and fill happened where the block is leveled out to the height required to the house.
The 15th there was some movement too and the concrete piers were installed (21 in total). On an aside, originally this was to be 45 screw piles, now our site costs are based upon 21 concrete piers and a 6.5m retaining wall. Not sure why the change came about however it appears the foundation design has changed. Good news! Should have many $ks in credit coming back to us.
Its nice to finally be able to put some construction photos up!
Angle from the front right corner, we are right on the boundary. You can see the cut out for the garage.
Cut/Fill from the front, you can sort of half see on the right hand side where the retaining wall will be going (along the garage cut out towards the camera).
And finally the concrete piers!
